Our Team

I started in the insurance business is 1982 selling Life Insurance, and then began selling health insurance, as I could see a need for that type of insurance. I partnered with Dee Forshee in 2007 and we formed Ming Senior Services. I have a love of fishing, which I got naturally from my dad Emmet, as we fished every minute we could. My other passions are my 11 grandkids. What a treat.

I graduated from Sullivan High School in 1994. I was fortunate enough to be drafted by the Houston Astros in the 8th round of the 1994 MLB draft. From 1994 –2003, I played for the Houston Astros, Detroit Tigers, and Arizona Diamondbacks minor league affiliations. After a brief stay in Pittsburgh, PA, I moved home in the fall of 2006 and joined my family’s independent insurance agency, Dace Insurance Agency, Inc, and in 2015, I married my best friend, Ashley. 

I started my relationship with Ming Senior Services in 2009 as a field agent in Sullivan and surrounding area. In the fall of 2020, I accepted the Director of Sales position to ensure current and future clients receive the same professionalism and knowledge established by Jim and Dee since the inception of their premier Medicare insurance company, Ming Senior Services. I look forward to helping our clients navigate the modern challenges in the Medicare industry with integrity, placing them with the best plan that fits their needs. 

I have been with Ming Senior Services since August of 2019. My responsibilities as the Licensed Senior Benefit Specialist include: answering benefit questions, appealing claims, financial assistance for medications, assisting with billing problems, and much more.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband at our newly built house in Beaufort, painting, and watching crime documentaries. We have 2 fur babies, Gus – our cuddly hound dog, and Isabel – our smart Labradoodle, that keep us very busy. I love to paint and craft different DIY projects. My favorite creation to make are front door hangers – I have made numerous signs for my friends and family.

The best part of my job is helping our clients with their insurance issues and needs and being part of such a wonderful team.

I started at Ming Senior Services in 2021. I help future and current clients of Ming Senior Services schedule appointments. I assist clients navigate their dental benefits and help find resolutions to other issues as well. In 2022 I obtained my Health and Life insurance license.

When I’m not at work I spend most of my time at home with my pets and fiancé. I have a dog, Max and my two cats, John and Lucy. I enjoy watching movies and crocheting. When I am not at home, my fiancé and I enjoy going on the river and boating.

I have been with Ming Senior Services part-time since June 2020. Insurance is a late in life second career! I retired from teaching in 2016 to take care of my mother. After she passed, I was looking for a new work experience and found it at Ming Senior Services. I love the camaraderie of the staff and helping the clients. I also love my part-time retirement and spend it outdoors in warm weather. During the cold winter months, traveling and reading are two of my favorite pastimes. With the kids grown, and my husband retired, we are going to live out our days in Sullivan, MO, in our big log cabin in the woods.

I was born and raised in St. Louis, growing up in Richmond Heights with my 10 brothers and sisters. After graduating from CBC High School and Southwest Missouri State, I founded Droege Insurance Agency in 1984 and joined Ming Senior Services in 2009 to provide my clients with Medicare plans. I am married, have four children, am active in the Men’s Club of my parish, and enjoy playing golf and coaching basketball.

I was born and raised in St. Louis County, and my family moved to Augusta in 1971 where I still reside. I got my BS degree from Lindenwood University in 1976. I have been in the health insurance industry for 30 years. When I certified in 1993, Medicare Supplements were the only option to enhance original Medicare. Now, there are guaranteed issue medical insurance plans that nearly everyone qualifies for.

With my 2 children grown, in my spare time I enjoy golf, fishing, biking, growing succulents and most of all, spending time with my wife and 4 grandchildren. One of my true joys is introducing my grandchildren to the great outdoors – particularly the fun in going to, and walking in, the local creeks and woods.

My primary focus is helping my clients find the right insurance coverage for their specific needs. I specialize in Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplements. My office is in New Melle, and an appointment is needed for new clients.

I grew up in Union, Missouri where I still reside. My wife, Tammy and I have two grown children and two grandchildren.  I enjoy golfing, boating, fishing, traveling and watching the grandkids in all their activities.

In 2021, I retired from the Union RXI School District as Superintendent of schools after 25 years in education.  I am very active in the Union Area Chamber of Commerce and the Union Rotary Club.  While new to Ming Senior Services I have worked firsthand with insurance companies to understand and negotiate insurance plans while Superintendent of Schools.

My goal is to continue being a part of the Union community and helping clients find the appropriate insurance for their needs.  I will be specializing in Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare supplements.  My office is in the Ming Senior Services main office in Union, MO.
